Commission Payouts

Learn how you earn commission and when it is paid out.

You earn commission on completed sales made through your OnAnthem storefront. Your commission rate is configured with each merchant, so rates may vary between connections.

How commission is calculated

When a customer places an order through your storefront, your commission is calculated using the rate set for that merchant connection.

Commission is based on the product subtotal. Shipping and taxes are not included.

Each commission is tied to the specific order, merchant, and products sold.

When you get paid

Your commission moves through the following steps:

  1. The buyer pays. Your commission is recorded.
  2. Shipping is completed by the merchant. With tracking, that’s when the carrier confirms delivery — or as soon as the merchant fulfills, once their account is established. Without tracking, that is 14 days after fulfillment. The clock starts once the merchant has shipped every item in your order. If the carrier reports a return or failed delivery, the commission is held for review.
  3. A 30-day hold period begins. It starts once shipping is completed and ensures the order has been completed successfully.
  4. Your commission is released. At the end of the hold period, OnAnthem sends your commission to your Stripe account.

You can view each order’s commission status and estimated payout date in your OnAnthem dashboard.

After your commission is released

Stripe deposits your balance to your bank weekly on Fridays. The time a deposit takes to arrive depends on your bank.

Tracking your earnings

Your dashboard shows the commission generated from sales through your storefront. Because earnings are tied to specific orders and products, you can see which merchants and products generate the most revenue.

Good to know

  • Different merchant connections may have different commission rates.
  • If an order is refunded, the related commission is reversed in proportion to the refund.
  • Commissions for orders with open disputes are held until the dispute is resolved. If the dispute is lost, the commission is reversed in full.
  • Finish your payout setup to receive commission. Scheduled commissions wait until you do.
  • You can review your commission terms, or propose a change, in your merchant connection settings. Changes take effect once the merchant approves them.
